Where is Kauai?
Kauai is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. It is the northernmost island in the Hawaiian chain and is draped in emerald valleys, sharp mountain peaks, and jagged cliffs. Kauai was ceded to the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1824 and has a population of approximately 66,000. The island is home to popular attractions like Waimea Canyon State Park, the Wailua Falls, and some of the best hiking and kayaking in Hawaii.
